Final score 16-12 tigers. Awful performance.

No penetration. A stream of errors, turnovers and penalties. Pretty dire for large parts. And yet we won.

I thought in the 2nd half every 50/50 the ref went in Falcons favour..

That said it was a win, but a horridly ugly win..

We seem to be winning ugly and are still right in it!!!.. I do think our luck will run out though unless we improve..

Lets hope the injuries are not too bad.

Exeter.. a MASSIVE game..

I'd like to say the sign of a good side to win when not playing well - but judging from the Radio commentary it sounded desperate.

Had we lost I think we'd have kissed the playoffs goodbye. That game at the Ricoh looking massive now - bet wasps won't be giving free tickets for that one.

There was some good attacking stuff, good breaks, ruined by ill discipline and a few dodgy interpretations. E.g. I didn't think Roberts was held??

A win in Newcastle is a good win.

Much relieved.

Saw the last 20 mins on stream, abysmal!! Too many stupid penalties given away, damn lucky to stay in the hunt for a playoff place. Based on this this the only other points may come from L Welsh and I do not see the Tigers getting above 6th come the end of May.

I'm afraid to say that was probably some of the best bits from a Tigers point of view.

It was horrible, it was ugly, but it was a huge win. Take it, move on, and be happy that we did what we needed to when the chips were down in the end.

Newcastle were on great form and to come away from there with a win, however it came about, is good.

How are we 5th?????

Hopefully we play mostly LV cup players and some of the potential returning injured players next week:

Would like to see
1) Bristow, 2) Briggs, 3) Balmain
4) Thorn, 5) De Cheves
6) Whetton 7) Thacker, 8) Pearce
9) Mele, 10) Bell
12) Hepetema (maybe allen depending on fitness), 13) Catchpole
11) Benjamin 14) Loamanu, 15) Scully

16) Nairn/ Farnworth (if he isn't needed for U20) 17) Rizzo, 18) Pas
19) Peterson, 20) Milne
21) Tresidder/Harrison 22) Thacker, 23) Smith/Camacho/Hamilton

Roberts on crutches! So would put hepetema at 12 and Thacker on. Bench
Would be nice if many was on the bench but not sure he will be fit.
