Tough on Joel Hodgson, who they signed from Newcastle last year.

Can't confess to know him, from a quick bit of research he's started in both super 15 games for the Chiefs so far this season and started in most of their games last season too. Plays alongside Retallick so that can only be a good thing?JackFlashJonny wrote:Todays news: Piri Weepu confirmed as signing for Oyonnax
The Rugby Paper states we are on the verge of signing Mike Fitzgerald from the Chiefs as a replacement for Deacons retirement for after the world cup..
Never heard of him anyone got any thoughts on this?

"The qualified builder was plucked from Wanganui to play ITM Cup by Dave Rennie"
With the added bonus that he can help with building the new stand!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

At the moment I'm struggling to see how, with the players leaving and the few we know are supposed to be coming, Tigers will have a better squad next year than this one? Or will the decline continue despite the arrival of Mauger?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Last seasons "star signings" came from Treviso this season its looking like New Zealand. We will run dry of any cap money very soon signing so much badly needed quality:smt002

Great signing has pace and talent to burn wonder why he is going to Falcons with the Olympics looming...

A bit early to come to any meaningful conclusion yet, isn't it?
Having said that, I suspect that for some, the perceived 'decline' will undoubtedly continue, despite Mauger and whatever the outcome on player signings.

Jesus wept. Next season doesn't start for another 7 months. I'm just going to put it out there that there will probably be more signings.G.K wrote:At the moment I'm struggling to see how, with the players leaving and the few we know are supposed to be coming, Tigers will have a better squad next year than this one? Why not just not bother coming to the games any more? You clearly don't enjoy it.

Hopefully, with Matawalu already signed, that will put an end to the Ben Youngs speculation.JackFlashJonny wrote:Bath have signed Jonathan Evans from the Dragons..
