The Rugby Paper states we are on the verge of signing Mike Fitzgerald from the Chiefs as a replacement for Deacons retirement for after the world cup..

Never heard of him anyone got any thoughts on this?
He isn't an All Blacks squad member, so why would we have to wait till after the World Cup to get him.

Perhaps to cover for the World cup during the NPC (or whatever they call it nowadays)

I don't know unfortunately just relaying the information in the paper...

Neil Fissler of the above has tweeted that we are closing in on Mike today..Looks a good signing to be fair!

I would be very happy with that. Where have you heard this?

He's wasted in the Championship. Far too good for it.

And been called up as cover for Brown, despite playing in the Championship

In what world do you think we are going to be able to afford Sonny Bill and Israel Dagg? It would of course be amazing. I'd be delighted. Bet then it would be amazing and I'd be delighted if I get home tonight to find a Bugatti Veyron on the drive and a team of servants looking after my every whim and a bag of enough cash to never work again.

It ain't happening.

This is ridiculous, whilst many are distant wild dreams Camacho at 14 that is just a step too far..Next you will be wanting Loamanu to play :smt003

Iain, it was a joke, hence the comment "I can only dream"

Right now I'd be happy for anyone that o be fit - the wacky world that is Leicester Tigers continues apace!
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

You might have to eat your words. Yesterday the Merc reported that Gonzalo would be in next month and today they are reporting that Manu will back next month.

Admittedly for Manu they have said this every month for about the last 3 months, so I'm not holding my breath.
