Re: David Mele
He was not first choice at Perpignan when we signed him and would not be first choice at most Premiership or top 14 teams. He is good cover for when the international quality scrum half in most teams is not available.
Re: David Mele
Was he first choice at Perpignan and by 8 September 2013 he had scored three tries in three consecutive matches for the Tigers, more than he scored in seven years for Perpignan.Noddy555 wrote:One is bound to ask why a scrum half of his talent should even consider becoming third choice at the tigers when he would be first choice elsewhere?

Re: David Mele
He'd probably be first choice at a bottom half of the premiership club, but he's not good enough to be our regular first choice. Don't think his decision making is that good, don't see enough in the rest of his play to make up for it.

I like Mele but his temperament has cost us.
Last year away at Bath was one imo, where he completely lost the ref early on.

Gaelic flair, you should see lots of that in Embra biffer, red hot one week, can't really be bothered the next. He needs game time to be consistent and with no "A" league his chances are limited, plus YBY is finding some form at the right time, hence he's in the England squad.biffer wrote:He'd probably be first choice at a bottom half of the premiership club, but he's not good enough to be our regular first choice.
