Quins game - Teams Up!!

Post by tigerburnie »

I see the Merc has both Tom Croft and Logi Mulipola as fit for this weekend, great news if we have them on the bench.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

Croft has been fit for the last couple of weeks I believe. He is just being outplayed by Gibson and Barbieri covers the entire back row and he is playing well. Good about Logo :D Bring him on with 20 to go and let him loose.

Croft not been fit for a couple of weeks.

He has been training but he was only deemed 100% fit for the bath game.

With two European matches coming up I might be tempted to give Salvi a well-deserved rest and play Gibson and Croft on the flanks.

I think I'd go along with that suggestion but Quins is a big game if we are to make the playoffs and we have a tendency not to change a winning side unless we are plugging a known weakness with a better player returning from, say, injury. Gibson and Salvi are holding their places on merit so I doubt either will be rested.

I'll be interested to see how many penalties we get in the scrum - Ayerza v Sinckler should be interesting. From what I've seen of him, he's a penalty machine (a la James last week)
