Plagued by injuries and firmly not in the England frame (see performance against Quins!).
Makes perfect sense, sadly. That said, hopefully we can hold on to Morris, and Bell seems to be doing OK from what we've seen so far. Salvi would be a bigger problem, but mitigated by it being a World Cup year.

Re: Matt Tait
with Scully morris and Bell we already have plenty of FB options but it would be a shame to lost Tait
Re: Matt Tait
I'm with TigerLad. If Williams is available and the rumour mill still points to Morris crossing the Irish Sea, it's not a bad shout to wish him well. I've always perceived him to be a good player who shows steady signs of improvement and then gets injured.

Re: Matt Tait
I like Tait but there are times when he doesn't do what you would expect a quality FB should do.
A couple of years ago there was talk of Leigh Halfpenny coming here but it didn't happen. So with Aaron Mauger starting next season, why don't we tap him up and get him to bring in the next best FB in Israel Dagg with him?

I know it might be sacrilege to suggest but if Ben Foden is available we could do a lot worse than him if Morris does leave as well, would love to see a marque signing though like a Lee Halfpenny

Would rather have an aggressive attacking FB than Halfpenny TBH.

Re: Matt Tait
I thought Tait had a strong game today.
Re: Matt Tait
He did - excellent in defence , but in attack ? Ran bravely into a few blind alleys but that was about it .
