Thanks for that link. So does that mean that ESPN (on a device) will be screening the live baseball? I understood that due to contractual reasons it could only be shown on TV?

I've just spoken with BT and they assured me you will not be affected if you get your BT Sports and ESPN through the Sky platform.

I think someone has got hold of the wrong end of the stick, BT might be the only service after January that hhosts fixtures on the internet, but I have been given to believe by a senior manager at BT that fixtuires will also continue to be shown on the Sky satellite platform i.e channels 413/414 & the old EPSN channel which BT now own ie. Channel 417.

To be honest I think a moderator should alter the title of this thread as it is very misleading.

Sorry I didn't mean it to be misleading. it is just for those who subscribe to BT via bt vision, still a bit of a kick in the teeth for me, as above, I record most matches due to work commitments.

What does this mean if you get BT TV and Infinity? I was under the impression that the sports channels come through the internet anyway???

I get my BT Sport through my Sky box. If I did not have Sky I could either get oh rough a BT Tv box or the Internet.

People /existing customers may be interested in the following:

From an e-mail sent to me from BT: "In regards to BT Sport, at present this is being supplied via your aerial and from January 2015 we are changing the way BT sport is delivered and it will no longer be available through your aerial. Unfortunately your speeds are not high enough to support BT Sport through your broadband connection so this service will no longer be available to you. I am really sorry about this.

I have checked and your exchange is due to be upgraded to Infinity in the very near future and this may change what services are available to you. You can register your details at www.bt.com/infinity and you will be notified if Infinity becomes ready to order on your line."

So, ya boo sucks to me from BT then!
