Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
Trying to choose one this month will be an eye opener given the mediocrity so far !!
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Kitchener for me.

Kitch
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
Re: Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
Well it would be Kitch for me as well, but he is not an option on the Goldsmiths FB site - and is it just me that can't vote anyway? - there seems to be something wrong with the FB page - not showing all the info etc!

I can't vote either 'cos I refuse to use Facebook - but it seems to be, on the Tigers web news, between YBY, Salvi and Burns.
Re: Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
I recall when you could vote online & not through Facebook - why loose that option as many decide against FB.ajs37 wrote:Well it would be Kitch for me as well, but he is not an option on the Goldsmiths FB site - and is it just me that can't vote anyway? - there seems to be something wrong with the FB page - not showing all the info etc!

Yes Kitch was the obvious choice and for Captain against Glous. too
So Ben Youngs has had at least 2 howlers of a game & shown no leadership as Captain.
Freddie has still to bed in to Tigers and missed 3 crucial kicks last week.
So Julian Salvi the player that gives it all and tries to win the ball & tackle every time must be the choice. But Kitch should be up there.
Re: Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
Agree that Kitch has been good but for me it's Salvi - a great number 7 - a worthy successor to Back and Moody. I reckon he's under-rated by the press but not to those who know

Well Kitch will just have to be the peoples choice then..

Re: Goldsmith Player of the Month (September)
Has to be Salvi out of the three put up.
Youngs had a good first game, but has been poor since, has started kicking aimlessly straight back to the opposition with no one chasing the ball, and hasn't shown captain qualities for me when the going gets tough.
Burns has started well for me, not afraid to get stuck in to defend, but hasn't made the team tick over the past few games.
Salvi, gives his all every time he plays, wins us valuable ball, and also slows the oppositions ball down excellently within the laws of the game allowing our defence to regroup.
But unable to vote as like a minority of others I don't use facebook.

well I use Facebook, but I still can't vote because the Facebook page won't let me! Seems to be broken!
Cheers

A very difficult choice for last month, but I think it's between Kitchener & Niki Goneva, without them we wouls be in deep stuch. Kitch for me just edges it.
