Probably stands a better chance with the lottery than with injuries.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

Just a case of last man standing plays! Unbelievable luck.
Everyone will just have to cheer a lot louder to convince the team we believe in the old Tigers' spirit to overcome the spirited and talented Irish with a certain Mr.Lewington and Skivington coming back to haunt us!!
We just have to scrape a win and somehow get some bodies fit again!!

Cruciate, achilles and now concussion - has Geoff had the most unlucky run of all of our injured players?

Corbs out too, must be Saints lousy conditioning coaching/preparation.................or is it just unfortunate in a contact sport, hope he gets well soon.

Sack Mallinder, or West. Both preferably. Serious issue for England and very bad luck for Corbs.

Love the Guardian - again the lesser player gets the column, the one with greater honours a line. They must hate Tigers, or at least some of their staff do.

I hate to say it but I think Parling may have to retire.
As anybody else had that many concussions and carried on?
Given what we've learnt about concussions in recent times can he realistically carry on?
Real shame. He'd developed into such a great player.

Kieran Read was out for weeks earlier this season, with recurring concussion problems. Judging by his recent performances, he's back to his best! Let's be careful with all the scaremongering and let the medics do their job.

It is not a decision I'd like to have to make.

They surely have to err on the side of caution, but based on Geoff's comments about trying to con the medic after a knock to his head so he could play on I'm sure he would grasp any opportunity to play on.

As the evidence from players like Reed the only real test will only come in 10-20 years time.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to copy & paste the article but today's Telegraph quotes Cockers as saying that Parling will definitely play again, having seen a specialist this week. He will be completely rested for three weeks and then reintroduced into the training regime. He could be back in December.

Good news if correct. The club will undoubtedly look after him and his health as a priority.
Give blood, play rugby!!

Looks like at least some of the cavalry are on their way.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

It is getting to the alarming stage how many serious injuries are happening, makes you wonder if the game needs to be looked at here. I don't recall how this injury occured, but as the players get bigger and the hits get harder, more damage seems to be happening.
