Beale has extended contract with Waratahs and ARU for another year
Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings
I'm actually relieved. I wasn't looking forward to having to pretend he was a good chap that we all liked playing for us.Frankers wrote:Beale has extended contract with Waratahs and ARU for another year

RB - announced anywhere?

So either he was using us a bargaining chip or we've got some good news on the Salvi front...RagingBull wrote:Dusautoir signed 2 year extension for Toulouse

Rumours I've seen around a winger at Wasps is for JP Pietersen or Ben Smith.JackFlashJonny wrote:Big signing Wasps are looking good for next year and apparently a good winger will be announced shortly...
Goode surely has at least another year left in him if he wants it elsewhere?
Goode was offered a coaching role apparently but wants to play, with Gopperth and Jackson there next season he's not going to get much of a shout. If Bristol don't come up, I can see him going to whoever does, which would probably be Worcester. Of course, who knows what opportunity will crop up - Cipriani hasn't committed to Sale for next year, so they may be looking for a ten.

WON'T BE BEN SMITH, he has 2 years left on his contract and I doubt NZRU will release him from it.
JPP could well be one.
IMO it will be someone like Tim Vissser.

Much as I like Visser, he doesn't fit the leading international, world level player that Wasps management have been talking about!

They didn't say world class international winger did they!
Said someone to excite Wasps and Premiership fans. No where did he say world class.

I doubt very much that signing a Scottish player would excite any Wasps fans, such is the rep of our rugby at the moment.RagingBull wrote:They didn't say world class international winger did they!

Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings
Well he has scored 64 tries in 116 games for Edinburgh. Varndell is 70 in 125.
I think Wasps fans have certainly bigged up Varndell way to much he is a fine winger but some are saying that they would be disappointed that he went unless they sign Savea or Ben Smith type.
Visser would fit into Varndell slot just like that as well. TV3 ;)
In just think some of the names Wasps fans are expecting might leave them disappointed. JPP would be a good bet though.

Bayonne 15 Spedding is reported to have signed for Clermont for 3 years.
Tait was rumoured to be his replacement.

Nice work RB with all the news...
I think it might be JP heard that rumour too Biffer..I can't see Smith going to Wasps at this stage of his AB career but JP would be a really good signing as can cover 13 too..Would be interested to see how he went in the AP.
