It is the sad state of European rugby unfortunately and nothing puts you in the shop front like winning the Premiership and European challenge cup :smt048
Any more on the Parling rumor ?
TBF I think people are just saying Parling is probably at the age where he will be looking to France. As far as I'm aware this is purely speculation. Hartley and Manoa seem to be done deals, Parling is far from that.

Can't see him staying after end of season though as thereis no chance of Welsh staying up, and he will have a relegation clause if he signed for more than one season.

Duane Vermeulen to England. (According to MO)

When you wish upon a star......

If the rumoured players do leave we could have the cap. Esp if Barbieri takes Matera's spot.

Bath are prob close to the cap already with Genia rumoured to be in.

Sarries have vunipola, glous has Morgan.

Vermeulens contract will not go towards the cap, if he is asking the wages reported he will certainly be one of the marquee players.

As much as I would love to see Vermeulen at Tigers I doubt it will happen, the money he is asking is far in advance of our usual pay structure (from what I know) and im not even sure if we can even afford that kind of money in the first place

Currently rumoured to be off ATM.

Parling
Deacon
Thorn
Matera
Salvi

Even if we get Albacete and Dustaoir we should still be in the black. imagine Barbieri may be viewed more at 7 ATM.

As said I highly doubt we would go for it at 400K but it would be nice.

Although with Talents like Pearce and Milne coming up would we be better to look at a 12?

To be fair I think the concern is at 7 - it's where we have the least depth, and even Dusautoir is a 6.5. It's a great luxury that we have three international lock forwards out injured and can still put out an international and England squad member.

I'd like to see more of Milne too. Hopefully we will come the new year with Barbieri off with Italy.

If this is also about Signings I would like to say Tommy Bell looks to be a very good one, he looks to me to be a gem & natural Full back, has the look of a young GM.

Add him to the likes of Harry Thacker,Fraser Balmain,Tom Bristow,Javiah Pohe,
George Catchpole & I'm sure others will add a few more, we have some really good lads coming through seems a pretty healthy future.

Dusautoir is a WC 7 maybe not a traditional fetcher but he attacks the breakdown as well as anyone (Watching the Aus game he shows he still has it)

Personally I would love to see us try and get Todd, If mauger does come perhaps he could bring him over. I also don't think Todd would be expensive as some may think.

In the young players department (23 under)we have some real potential:

1) Brugnara (20)
2) Thacker (20)
3) Balmain (23)
4) Maksymiw (18/19)
5) Price (21)
6) Beckett (19)
7) Owen (19)
8) Milne (19)
9) Tresidder (20)
10) O.WIlliams (22)
11) R.Williams (19)
12) Pohe (20)
13) Catchpole (20)
14) D.Williams (20)
15) Hudson (20)

16) Farnworth (19)
17) Hills (18)
18) Pasquali (20)
19) ?
20) Pristely-Nangle (18)
21) Prince (18)
22) C.Thacker (18)
23) Bryant (20)

Then there are the likes of Nairn, Hogan, umaga, etc

Some great talent.
