Shame we haven't still got Ryan Lamb as I bet he would be keen to play on the wing and mark Alesana :smt003

Will be interested to hear what happened to Allen last week.

Confident we'll get a win on sat and very interested to see how Burns, Bai and Manu link up.

It is almost a case of who's left. I wonder if Newcastle will now target this game more and start with Alex and Brookes rather than having them on the bench. Is Tait injured. If not I am surprised he is not on the bench ahead of Williams (we already have two 10's starting) or Smith.

Still a good side and strong enough to beat Newcastle - but no more injuries please!

Ben Youngs leads Tigers as captain for the first time in league competition, while Tom Croft starts the season in the back row alongside Julian Salvi and Jordan Crane.

Club captain Ed Slater, and senior pros Anthony Allen and Louis Deacon, are among those sidelined by injury this week. Tigers are also without Miles Benjamin, Gonzalo Camacho, Dan Cole, Scott Hamilton, Pablo Matera, Geoff Parling, Laurence Pearce, Michele Rizzo, Adam Thompstone and Brad Thorn. Marcos Ayerza is on international duty with Argentina.

I feel we may target Juan Pablo Socino in our attack. He is a nice player with ball in hand but defensively not as strong. Bai and Manu running at his channel all game could prove a handful so I expect him to step out a little and Powell and Sinoti step in.

with Socino as they back up 10 and Godman starting we def need to target him.

Also Pohe is on the bench for Nottingham and Wells is starting for Bedford.
