Seats gone in front of shop

Post by grobyman »

Is this preparation for the next bit of expansion, also not sure how many seats there were, but will reduce capacity to below 24000

They are taken out over the summer, always have been. I believe it is as simple as that they are hired, and it saves money to take them out over the summer when they're not needed.

Yes they go each summer. Also I believe gets more air on the pitch which helps the grass grow but may reason would be the savings on rental.

I heard that the stands at that end were removed at the end of the season so that they qualified as 'temporary' and so avoided the need for planning permission. That said I don't think the large stand has been removed for several years.

I also believe that bit of seating spends it's summer break in the leafy pastures of Henley.
