I believe this was discussed the season before last. Try using the search facility.

Re: Toulon
When we went to the game last we were too late for a decent hotel. However we did stay in a lovely B/B down by the sea, walking distance to the ground.

I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Re: Toulon
We stayed at the Kyriad Prestige Hotel which is across the bay - it was a very cheap 15 minute ferry crossing, pretty much direct to the ground. We will be staying there again.
If winning isn't everything, why do they bother keeping score?

Re: Toulon
The Allseasons Toulon is literally within spitting distance of the Stadium and is a lovely hotel would definitely recommend it if it hasn't sold out already!
Re: Toulon
I did have a look when the dates were confirmed but, I confess, I haven't tried too hard recently to find out whether the match will be played in Toulon or if they are going to move it to one of the nearby larger stadiums as they have done in the past.
Has anyone here heard where we will be playing?

Hope you enjoy TerraceTiger is a lovely little hotel and perfect for match days. Just a little stroll across the road and you are at the harbor and a nice little haagen daz I remember fondly

Re: Toulon
Can anyone help please with flight travel permutations for the Toulon match weekend? I am having real difficulties in finding flights other than from Heathrow or through Ryan Air, with whom after various bad experiences I am loath to fly. Any advice would be gratefully received. And before some friendly individual/grump asks me to search old threads, I would point out that past performance of airlines is no guarantee of future performance and schedules!
Re: Toulon
Few 'proper' airlines fly to Toulon ex UK. I think that Air France fly out of City, but not direct so it takes all day. You could try Easyjet from LGW to Nice or Marseille and it is about 2 hours by train from either to Toulon. Both have frequent scheduled flights.
