As someone who has been banned (and reinstated - thank you) how was I supposed to see your message. Anybody who could see it, presumably was unaffected.

As someone who has been banned (and reinstated - thank you) how was I supposed to see your message. Anybody who could see it, presumably was unaffected.

Phil B, there should have been nothing stoopiing you from seeing the posts without logging in. You only need to log in to post on the forum.

Thanks for that. Each time I tried to access the forum I got the message I was banned. I even tried on my Kindle Fire, with the same result - anyway if I was wrong I apologise, no problem.

Edit:

I can only think that my browser (Firefox) had me logged in from the previous day, but as my Kindle Fire uses the Silk browser, I am not sure that is the explanation. As I said earlier, I made no attempt to log on, simply to access the forum.

Yes, same here. Also briefly shows pc home page behind this forums page before it loads when starting machine.

Yes I also now get web site area message every time.
Before I was banned for spam and that was to access the forum never got as far as logging in. That appears fixed now
