No first teamers risked for this.

Six academy player, one development squad player and five trialists. The Fijian won the JP7 with Glaws last season and Woodhead is supposed to be one to watch and has played for English counties. The trialists should provide some sevens experience.

read somewhere they are using the 7s to give a few players the once over, as it worked so well with Scully.

If you put that lot in training exclusively for sevens I think they'd easily beat most international sevens sides. It would be fun to watch every side putting out their best players in the sevens but it will never happen.
