I saw it too!
Going to keep my eyes open for the tour as a whole, 'cos you never know, tigers' shirts, flags etc appear in the strangest of places.

I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Just proves that we have tigers fans everywhere, even in China and Russia I believe.

I was wearing a tigers t-shirt opposite Kings College this morning as the Tour started and I spotted another couple walking around too

Kusadasi Tiger The Tiger shirt to Eire must have been one of my mates in Dublin or Rathdrum county Wicklow.

But you must have had the shirts that went to France Phil. Who else could it possibly be?Phil B wrote:Is the market that small?Noddy555 wrote:Kusadasi Tiger The Tiger shirt to Eire must have been one of my mates in Dublin or Rathdrum county Wicklow.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

what an unexpected thing to see
Re: Tigers flag seen on Buttertubs climb Tour de France
Just to clarify, Buttertubs was on the first stage in Yorkshire, not France. Dont suppose too many Tigers fans will be following now Cav And Froome are out, still I will continue to watch this amazingly gruelling event. Well done to UK for showing off our beautiful countryside.

Last month I took over shirts to my friends in Hawaii. They came to visit a couple of years ago and we took them to a match and they have been supporters ever since.

Phil B I've probavly more friends in Ireland both North & South than I have in England and no LE18 I have watched the Tour de France on tele since 1991
and before that listened to French Radio stations for live stages and recording. Plus I have seen the tour live on 7 occasions since 1961 whilst visiting friends in France and the nationality of cyclists has never bothered me, so why should I grieve the loss of a post date sprinter from the isle of man.
