I'll be in the South Stand with all the Say-ull-ers.

Weather is gorgeous up north this morning, so hopefully a firm pitch, an open game, and five points for the Tigers

I wonder if the real starting line up may well prove different?
Quite often we've seen sides announced only for last minute changes to be made about fitness. Not sure it's a tactic we need against Sale.
But is Crane fit? Is Tait fit?

Cannot believe how bad the line out is :smt009 and the sheer number of missed tackles that led to Allen getting injured trying to make up for the fact that Manu is constantly flying out of the line. :smt013

Bring on Sarries cannot wait :smt023

Replacements have been poor and that's why we need to strengthen, Balmain looks overweight, The tank not interested and Briggs not good enough; Saracens wouldn't do this, poor poor!! 22 -35 now!!

22-42 to Tigers, 6 tries to two against a team we rarely beat up north. Fantastic result and 10th playoff on the trot, superb result.

Much better second half performance, do not understand why Goneva and Manu hardly got the ball. Nearly did a Mallinder with the replacements who did not perform well especially Balmain giving away two penalties for illegal binding. Hope AA is OK likewise for TY but frankly we need to improve and cut out the errors and penalties to worry Sarries :smt023

Mystified as to how GP got mom, we did not contest the lineouts, we were awful in that dept, notice how he passed bottle to Muli, my mom, but how many tries do we give away when bench come on? Really got to step up next week against Sarries, who rested key men today!

Win or lose next week, it looks like we play the sinners and let's face it, it won't really matter if it's at Franklins Gardens, they are running out of steam and can't buy a win against us. The final at Twickenham is a one off, we can beat anyone there on our day.

Most pleased with the accuracy in attack, really good work to consistently score tries when we got in their 22, especially as that's something we've struggled with this season.

Good defence in our 22 early on, slightly shaky elsewhere. Thought Gibson started slowly, making errors in the defensive line and gave away penalties, but worked really well once he got into the game. Equally, Williams left 9 points out there in the first half but made up for it with the rest of his game. YBY really got into the game and pretty very well overall.

Scrum went well and Fraser got a good run out, which was nice to see. Breakdown work was very good: accurate and aggressive so got lots of quick ball and pretty much dominated overall. lineout not so good, Paterson and Gaskell competed very well but we'll definitely need to improve in that department.

Deserve plenty of credit for putting 42 points on a pretty good Sale team.

If Bath beat loose against Quins we play Saints, if we beat Sarries we play Saints. However if Bath win and we lose and even get a LBP against Sarries we will play Sarries in the semi's because we will be equal on points with Bath but they go through in third because they would have won more games than us. At least that is my understanding :smt017

Hate to be picky but 6 tries to 3(Brady, Patterson and Thomas). Nevertheless, as you say a superb result in a game which could have been a huge banana skin.
