Shocking that they can't get more than we can for half of our AP games. How many could Tigers sell for a semifinal? I know we could sell out the crisp dome, but how many more than that could we sell for a semifinal against say Toulon, in Leicester?

Edinburgh sold 37,000 for a quarter final, I think that shows how poor this is from Sarries. Mind you, I bet if they get to a semifinal next year, they'll be allowed to give away tickets for it like they do for their league games.
Last Saturday 31000 tickets had been sold, that is less than we had for the Sarries v Gloucester and compare it to the Army v Navy the following week which is sold out.

Very poor from Clermont. They aren't being helped by the ref but they aren't playing well enough. Against us they used the big forwards to get over the gain line, then swung it out to their world class backs. At the moment they're using the forwards, but instead of using their backs they just keep it in. Owens has given Sarries 14 points through a penalty try and disallowing a perfectly good try. Sarries are very aggressive off the line in defense and that's stifling Clermont. Very strange atmosphere from TV. 20 odd thousand at WR South is very strange.

Disgraceful referee, yet again poor reffing ruins an important game. No way was that a penalty try and no-way was it obstruction for the dis-allowed Clermont try. Also repeated infringements from Saracens but no card. Owens should not be let loose outside of the Rabbo! :smt009
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

And possibly the worst ref in Wales! So Sarries can "No Arm" Tackle, come in from the side, handle on the floor and knock on without punishment and Clermont get a penalty try awarded against them?? .......Is that Bill I can hear ? Muttering at the telly?

They're executing their gameplan very well but if Clermont play to their potential they win. James was kicking the ball almost length of the pitch against us, against Sarries he's messing around with the ball in the most dangerous areas of the pitch. Some of that is down to Sarries defense but a team of Clermont's experience and quality should be able to deal with that. Clermont seem aimless instead of the machine that faced us.

That's what the best teams do. Execute game plans! IF this was a Tiger's performance we'd be drooling......as it is we can only envy the drive and the passion Sarries have. At the moment we are a poor fourth in the league. This lot on today's form would thrash us.

Some echo in here! Sarries have looked good, but two poor refereeing decisions led to a 14 point swing in their favour. That said, the tackling has been phenomenal, particularly from Burger. I'd be very pleased if Leicester put in a defensive performance like that- I'd say that's been the big weakness this year.

However, it is pretty hard to know just how good it is when Clermont have been playing so terribly. Whereas against us, they kicked for touch from their own 22, they've tried to run everything which is just so brainless against a team like Saracens. There has been no shape in attack. They were battering away at the try line through pick and drives and playing easy to defend one-out rugby rather than using their backs, Rougerie has been a big loss for them. If Clermont had played today as they had against us, the scoreline would certainly have been closer (though Saracens still might have won).

I think the echo may have been due to Remy in the keyboard! Should be cleared now!
