Leicester vs Saracens Tickets

Post by LessThanSte »

Morning everyone,

I know its a while away, but does anyone know of any tickets (2 needed) going spare for the Saracens match on May 10th? Preferably terrace tickets, but happy to sit anywhere.

Unfortunately although the match hasnt sold out there are only individual tickets dotted around all of the stands....!

Thanks in advance
Steve

Looking for, preferably 3 or if not 2 sequential seated tickets, if at all possible, for the Tigers v Saracens match on the 10th May, 2014

Fleabane: I have had a look, currently nothing on there. However, when i looked the other day there were only single tickets; not much use!!

Yes it is very sad and wrong in my view that Tigers associate themselves with a ticket touting company like stubhub.

However at least stubhub are open about their intentions and only take a slice of the price. It is greedy Tigers ticket holders who are setting the ridiculous prices currently being asked for on stubhub.

The answer is not to buy through them and market forces will eventually force the prices down to a reasonable level.

I would never dream of profiting in this way, face value is fine, but unfortunately there are some out there who don't seem to have the "old rugby values" that most of us cherish.

Unfortunately, those of us with ST 'cards' can only sell our 'tickets' through Stubhub so that a paper ticket can be printed and delivered.

I fully agree with you though, they are pretty much legalised ticket touts. Their commission/fees are very high. They should be forced, like Airlines have been, to clearly state the price of the ticket and the fees/extras that Stubhub impose. Possibly even the face value of the ticket being sold too!

I do wonder how much of a profit Tigers make from the sales. And according to the ticket office there is no reserve list anymore, so it sounds as if you cant sell your ticket back to the ticket office.

Toutless.co.uk is a fabulous website!

I've always thought that in order to defeat ticket touts, any sports organisation should hold back 100 tickets for the event and sell them all on ebay in the run up to the match. Half the amount over the normal price to charity, club keeps the rest. Official tickets, no touts, and the yahoos that are able to spend hundreds or thousands of pounds on a ticket end up putting their money into the club rather than the pocket of a crook.

Thanks Chris. Happily I managed to snap up a couple of terrace tickets on Stubhub for only a small amount more than face value.

Still hate these legalised ticket touts!

As I've just said on the Teams Up thread, if anybody is not keen on watching this "A Team game" and has a couple of spare terrace tickets, I'd happily pay face value! :smt003
