Or is that biting lip? Posted by Stains fans on their Facebook board.

Funny or just rude?

Re: Tongue in Cheek?
Seems like a grade 1 "insert insult here", it could be argued it is wit if 90% of the articles were not about Tigers

Spite poorly disguised as wit.
Re: Tongue in Cheek?
Rather pitiful really.
Lets not forget this bloke was good enough to gain selection for the Lions very recently.
Sad attempt at humour.

If you read some of the other articles on the site, they are similarly poor.
Read like a schoolchild's attempt at deep satirical humour.
Just not very intelligent throughout.
Best ignored.

It's a prerequisite to be a Saints supporter, you forgot to add jealous and twisted.SilebyTiger wrote:Bitter, sad people.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.
Re: Tongue in Cheek?
They will be so until they replace Mallinder and West for it is they, I believe , who are holding Stains back (so I'm cheering for them to have 20 year contracts ).
West in particular needs the counselling that Cockers has had re their bitter rivalry.

Best ignored. Not even witty. Possibly lessons in humour needed?

Re: Tongue in Cheek?
Spends a lot of time watching and following Tigers in a desperate attempt to berate.
If we'd not beaten them in the past 10 attempts then maybe I'd be bitter too.

Wait a minute. This was written by somebody who supports a team with Lee Dickson in it?OneEyedTiger wrote:They're at it again; http://offsidetackle.blogspot.co.uk/201 ... nited.html
Re: Tongue in Cheek?
I thought the second was much funnier than the first, if only on the basis that I didn't find the first funny at all.
Of course they're nearly all about Tigers. Tigers are the team that everybody is desperate to see taken down a peg or two because of their consistency and history. In this country neutrals favour the underdog and Tigers aren't (even when, very occasionally, they are). It's all a form of respect, or at least, jealousy.

I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

I may be a bit slow - how do you work that out?TigerAlex wrote:Wait a minute. This was written by somebody who supports a team with Lee Dickson in it?OneEyedTiger wrote:They're at it again; http://offsidetackle.blogspot.co.uk/201 ... nited.html
