Unfortunately for RRW, the WRU has a similarly cosy relationship with the Welsh media based in Cardiff.

I take it that there is still no Welsh Participation Agreement?

RRW are signed up to the Pro12. They don't have an agreement in place with the WRU about player release for internationals, but frankly who cares about that.

It's a little more complicated than that. No agreement means no funding from the WRU.

The previous agreement expired at the end of last month.

Just for clarification, is that a question? We don't want to risk anybody causing offence.

How many teams, from where, knockout single tie or two legs, or a group of four?

I thought there was meant to be an aim of developing European rugby, but it seems to be an afterthought at the moment.
The Qualifying Competition will involve the 4 best teams from Italy's National Championship of Excellence plus club sides from second-tier European rugby nations, so presumably more than four.

Yeah but we're all presuming aren't we? There's nothing solid in place at all.

Fairly obviously a statement.

Statement just released by RRW.....There is not going to be one.
What comes next, I just don't know.

Fairly obviously not the first time you've made that mistake.

And everybody is holding out until the last possible moment to try and secure themselves the best possible deal. Just because you and I might not be in the know it doesn't mean nothing is happening. It's the same in pretty much every walk of life, and premature announcements can put a party at a significant disadvantage.

If ever proof was needed that Baggy and his pal Snipe are trolls the evidence is here.

They even glory in getting themselves banned from the Scarlets forum!

I wonder which one is using the'stanupenfite' moniker?
