Leicester Tigers Away Supporters Club will be travelling to all Tiger's European fixtures, for Scarlets we will be leaving Friday late afternoon and staying for two nights B & B in Llanelli also we will offer a day trip departing 10.30 am Saturday getting back to Leicester around 1.00 am Sunday. For Toulon we will be going by train leaving Friday morning (early) returning Monday and for Ulster it will be a coach & ferry trip with a two night stay. Prices for all later, French trains will not confirm price until middle to end September but over all should be cheaper than flying and more pleasant.

The previous version, the European Challenge Cup, was also frustratingly short on TV coverage. I guess it just didnt generate enough interest from Ireland, Wales, Scotland & Italy to entice the advertising revenue.

There are 5 English clubs in the competition - only one Irish one (Connacht)!

You would think the 5 English teams would attract a tv audience
Gloucester
Newcastle Falcons
London Irish
Exeter Chiefs
London Welsh

Its also surprising considering BT Sport are jersey/stadium sponsors of Edinburgh, Dragons & Cardiff they would be interested in showing their games as they cover the UK.

With so little media coverage, its hard to see how the new company will generate any decent sponsorship for it either.

I think they made a mistake not having teams dropping down from the Heineken to glam it up a bit for them.

It was nowhere near this short. There were usually three or four games covered each weekend.

Has a French broadcaster been sorted out? It may be there are more games covered by French TV and BT/Sky might carry the pictures once this is confirmed.

First two games kick-off at 7:45 on a Saturday night - another fan friendly time then.

Just a word of warning to anyone travelling up from London for the Ulster game. According to the East Midlands website the 21.58 train from Leicester doesn't arrive at Kings X until 00.34, normally it would be an hour earlier.

Luckily I have a standing offer of a lift back to London from two friends who travel up by car.
