Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

IMO this thread should be locked.

Haskell had his allowance suspended. Farrell didn't. Make of that as you will.

I think Haskell directly passed his on to a 3rd party auction (albeit for charity) and that's why they pinged him. Whilst that is absolutely and utterly ridiculous to do so to a man clearly helping a good cause - at least there is some consistency in that Farrell's ticket was sold on by someone he legitimately gave it to.

Come on now we may not like his face, his dad, his ludicrously premature promotion or his Championship-standard game management but if having unreliable mates is a crime we'd all be doomed

Because the RFU said "Farrell, 22, had no knowledge of the sale having passed on the ticket in good faith", and your title to the thread is implying otherwise.BJ. wrote:May I ask why?
Practice what you preach and show some integrity.

Unfortunately the system will not allow me to insert a winking emoticon into the header box. Therefore, I've amended the OP.Norfolk & Goode wrote:Practice what you preach and show some integrity.

Re: If your face fits or your dad is a head coach ...
Would the winking emoticon be the forum equivalent of the "innocent face" tweet that cost Sally Bercow many thousands of pounds for her own defamatory statements?

If you believe what you read in today's daily mail if there was any wrongdoing it was by the coach Alex Sanderson and not Owen Farrell, that's if you believe what you read!

Complete non-story IMHO.
Some on here would get excitable if BBC published what OF had for breakfast!

I quite like the lad. He is a class act who unfortunately is more under rated by Tigers fans than he is over rated by the Rugby Media. For me he sits somewhere in between the two extremes and is certainly England's best bet at 10 at present. However, would be nice to see him playing 12 come the World Cup with a rejuvenated Freddie Burns at 10 and Manu at 13.

I doubt you will ever see Farrell starting at 12 for England he is not an international 12.Tomvarndell wrote:I quite like the lad.
