When did the Bath game get moved from Saturday to Sunday ?
My 2014 diary had this fixture at 3pm on Saturday 4th Jan.
When did it get moved?
How were we told?
Here is another reason for not renewing my season ticket.
When you buy tickets for anything else it only changes if someone is ill, or there is an earthquake.

I've never agreed with the changes in kick off times as many people know.
But if we are going to have different kick off times for TV then they should decide then announce it before the season starts and not change it again unless the game can't physically be played at that time due to the weather.

Not to mention it was in the various programmes since 8 Nov, and the Mercury when it was changed.

27th Sep is,IMO, in this instance, plenty of notice, especially when the OP is trying to make out that Tigers have failed to inform them of a change or failed to make such a change public knowledge - maybe by using a publicly accessible website - which is clearly not the case.
Out of curiosity Isambard, if the fixture was on your calendar as today how long did you wait before realising the gates weren't opening?

Whilst that is a decent amount of notice, it is still after the start of the season. Kick off dates and times should be committed to before the season commences unless in extreme circumstances or where it is the latter stages of a knock out competition.WhitecapTiger wrote:Isambard wrote:My 2014 diary had this fixture at 3pm on Saturday 4th Jan.

People shouldn't have to keep checking to see if a kick off time has changed and certainly (like with some of the Heineken games) shouldn't have to wait until a month or less before the match is scheduled to be played.
Not everyone uses the internet, not everyone has a smart phone and not everyone buys a match day programme or reads the Leicester Mercury. Nor should they have to once the fixtures have been announced prior to the start of the season.

How many times does this have to be talked about? We all know that fixtures change. Tigers cannot do anything about it and nor can any other team.

Yes the club can do something about it. We are one of the more influential clubs in this country and when TV deals come up (as they recently have) we should be insisting that matches kick off at 3PM on Saturday. If the TV company refuse this then the compromise should be that they confirm the alternative dates and times before the start of the season.ellis9 wrote:How many times does this have to be talked about? That is, of course, assuming the club holds the same narrow-minded, antiquated views as you.yellow_balaclava_hunter wrote:We are one of the more influential clubs in this country and when TV deals come up (as they recently have) we should be insisting that matches kick off at 3PM on Saturday.

Sounds like something out of captain caveman or the dark ages. How do you expect the club to communicate - by writing a dear John letter? Perhaps a notice posted on the city gates before the ritual weekly hanging of Cockers. Welcome to 2014yellow_balaclava_hunter wrote: Not everyone uses the internet, not everyone has a smart phone and not everyone buys a match day programme or reads the Leicester Mercury.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.
