Help please

Post by stujoed »

Just about to buy a season ticket for next year. In bronze I get a free seat for my son to sit with me.
Can choose from lower GNC block f rox c (is this covered or do you get wet in the rain?) or Holland and Barrett block L row E.

thoughts/suggestions greatly recieved. thanks Stuart

In row 'C' you'll definitely get wet in the rain. I would say that anything inside the first 9-10 rows has the danger of rain in the CAT stand.

Holland and Barrett benches are more like being in chapel. Very uncomfortable. I suggest the GNC stand and a pair of waterproof trews are on Ebay at £7 with a top and in a zipped up bag. Sittinging in Row C of the Goldsmiths is why I bought them. It all depends on the wind too.

The prevailing weather comes from behind the Crumbie, and so you should stay dry and out of the wind most of the time. The GNC faces the prevailing weather, and is some distance back from the pitch.

The benches in the Crumbie are quite close together, so if you are very tall, your knees will be under your chin! However, a cushion each and you will be amongst some of the most knowledgable and friendly people you could wish to meet.

I am in GNC row H and get wet. The roof is so high that anything other than a windless rainy day means rain up to about row H.

A suggestion but would it be possible for you to get to one of the free or cheaper games to have a look to see which you might prefer?

The Crumbie is the place to be, much better atmoshere than the Cat stand, which is just a concrete block, crumbie you can stamp your feet to the rythme of the chant, but really the very best is the Crumbie terrace, atmoshere great, stand with whom you like, but you do get a little wet at times, but generally your back is to the wind and the stand shelters you. True supporters on the terrace! :smt030 :smt035

LE18 - As a Crumbie dweller I deeply resent you taking the P out of the atmosphere on the terrace.

Sorry - it is Christmas cracker time after all :smt039

I assume you mean I'm as opposed to i,m. :smt002

Also, another popular one on this forum is people not knowing the difference between losing and loosing. I've lost count of the number of times some folks have complained about the Tigers loosing a match.

Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

Very loose use of language which can lead to the argument being lost!
