I'm sure I saw somewhere yesterday the dates and times for Rounds 5 & 6 will be announced this Wednesday (18 Dec). I think it was on the Sky sports site but I cannot find it today.

As for flying to Treviso, it all depends where you want to start from.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

The date of the round 5 & 6 matches were announced this week last year, so hopefully we will know in a day or so.

We have booked outbound flights, but not the return just in case the match is on Sunday, if it's not we will return on Sunday. If anyone has any advance info it would be useful - flights get more and more expensive closer to the date.

Terracetiger, treviso airport is only just down the road from the city, take the number 6 bus i think, its only 1.5 euros to the station, takes 10 mins, walk from station through walls into town, hotel continental is ok, Treviso is a very nice place, ground is approx 2 mile walk, take something to sit on as seats are concrete and sweat, so you get wet bum. Venice is only 30 mins by cheap train ride away. Alternatively you can fly Easyjey to Venice, but i would recomend Treviso. Have a good trip!

We are still away in Montpellier, nerves are shattered!

I can't go, but, as has been said many times, supporters are treated with contempt by Rugby establishment (in collusion with Sky), with a match to be played in less than 4 weeks time with an underdetermined k-o date and time.

I am not sure it would be any better with BT, but I cannot think of another sport where pre-arranged fixtures are left open for so long. Obviously with cup draws the fixture is not known and period before game is short but that is not the case here.

Consequence of selling your sole to the devil I suppose but doesn't make it any more palatable.

I agree with LE18 and RWA. We stayed at the Continental last year and it was OK. Also, it's only a 2 minute walk from the railway station if you fancy a day in Venice.

You can get them on match day. There were only 3,000 there at the weekend so I wouldn't think getting tickets is a problem. I got mine a few years ago from the Treviso website.

The last time we went to Treviso, tickets had to be ordered and paid for in advance then collected at the stadium, the whole process was smooth enough with no problems.

Super city, great people have a great weekend.

All booked up with fingers crossed for a Sat or Sunday k.o as we fly out from Stansted early Sat a.m and return late Sunday. If game is Friday night it could be a couple of days looking around Venice. Could be worse! :smt001
Booked into Carlton hotel in centre of Treviso. Hope all the fog in Treviso is gone by early Jan.
