Why didn't it happen at WR?

Post by fleabane »

Why is it that Leinster have started like dynamos against Saints, 3 tries in 27 minutes, huge pressure forcing errors, when this didn't happen when MO'C was at Leicester?

Answers on a postcard please! (Or post it here :smt003 )

MOC has hardly made Leinster a great team, lets remember they have been the dominant team in Ireland if not Europe for the past 4-5 seasons

Don't recall many fans saying that after we beat them 36-8 at there place last season.

Also shows that some big name signings can not change things. so will posters stop mentioning about how saints have signed huge players and why can't we sign players like that. (North)

MO'C is a lucky boy that was virtually the same Irish team that ran NZ so close last month!
Their a class act & as we know Leinster's season revolves around the HC & their timing couldn't be better!
And having their pet ref with them just in case it got close didn't hurt either :smt023

It is,of course, ludicrous that a RABO ref should have charge of this match.

It should have been a Frenchman.

Yet another example of the deficient ERC Governance.

the backline was pretty well the same that played for Cheika and Schmidt . He's had no chance to ruin it yet !

Anything but "pet ref" stood with the Leinster Supporters - their view of Mr Owens is on a par with ours. They were dreading it.

Val T if you were in Dublin when he reffed that 1/4 final you would understand what I meant! As I stated on another thread I know the Leinster fans don't rate him but for some reason he seems to favour them (could be a Rabo thing)
Will be interesting to see how he performs in Montpelier, I will be there to see it in person!!
We had a great game of open rugby yesterday with both defenses virtually non existent let's hope we are still talking about the game & not the referee this time next week :smt023

GT1 we had a Rabo ref yesterday, Mr Lacey allowed the Montpellier forwards to wrap around and block off every ruck that formed., lying in front of our SH so he could not get ball out, he did not speak to them about this and no sign of a yellow card, I was absolutely amazed how he ignored so many blatant blocks of all types

Editted i did not realise rapping was on the song sheet.

Ps pity we only gave Choir 1 song, would have liked more, well done to them.

Obviously standard Rabo reffing standards so expect more of the same from Owens & play him accordingly!!

GT1 you are a card, tell me a Ref you like, Monsieur Poite even let you down a couple of weeks ago. Mr Owen might surprise you, i dont think he will allow them to block off like Lacey did.
PP packed.

I wish monsieur Poite was reffing us on Sunday as I fear the worst with Owens! He will be Sunday nights topic for discussion me thinks!
