My brother Chris.
It is with much sadness that I must announce that my brother Chris Talbot, aka Compo or Little Chris passed away suddenly on Monday of this week.
He was a massive Tigers fan and more recently the little steward in front of the 'Cat' stand. He will be much missed by everyone who knew him.
We have been heartened by the warm tributes we have received from his friends at this very sad time.

Condolences to you and your family.

Re: My brother Chris.
Mrs GS and I have 'only' known Chris for about 9 years but he was the only person we know whose entire wardrobe appeared to consist of Tigers' rugby shirts with the odd Lions and Baa Baas shirt thrown in for good measure, except for the white shirt he needed as a steward at WR. He played rugby as a schoolboy and travelled all over to watch Tigers way before the game went pro and had lots of tales of Tigers games and the grounds he visited.
He may only have been a little chap but he touched the lives of all he met, he will be sadly missed.

Chris (Compo) Talbot was a valued member of the Away Supporters Club, he was already a member of long standing when I joined about twenty years ago. Last Friday he was with us in Gloucester, on the way down he declined the opportunity to transfer to a seat, preferring to stand in The Shed. A lovely guy a passionate Tigers fan who will be missed by all who knew him.
I understand his funeral will be at 3.15 pm Tuesday 17th December at Gilrose.

Re: My brother Chris.
Awful news. So sorry to hear this. He was a lovely and very amusing chap. Delighted to have got to know him during some of the LTASC trips. My thoughts with all his family and many friends who knew him better than I did.

I think we should hold a minute's silence for Chris before the Sale match TRue
Tiger fans like him are more of a loss to us then any foreign leaders whatever their stature.

Tim_Tim_Tiger Lily, whilst your description of Compo is apt he did not go on the trip to Toulon. There is another nice guy short of stature wearing a flat cap who did accompany us and he will be in Montpellier and at Saracens, hopefully this post will prevent you suffering shock. I think Compo would have liked the misunderstanding.
