If we lose Goneva, Thompstone and Tait's injury problems continue, then we'd be bonkers not to have a little word with James O'Connor's agent. He was a different class yesterday but then again he isn't the typical 'Tigers' player.

I may be wrong but I thought O'Connor said that he would only play in England for a season and then return to Oz. Something about getting back in the RWC squad.

Indeed I heard that quotation. This move was only going to be short term in order so that he can rehabilitate himself back into the Oz squad.

So allegedly and without prejudice we are losing Lamb Goneva Allen Flood and a few others..

Burns would be a superb acquisition, so why dont we go the whole hog and get May and 12Trees as well?

If Glos backs and Leicester forwards had played Leics backs and Glos forwards on Fri night it would have been about 45-zip...

The Rugby Paper has now linked us with Dave Ewers but at the end of the article in the fissler files it did state Ewers is very content with playing for the Chiefs at the moment

Can see him staying at exe they are a tight knit team, and they players look quite loyal.

would love for him to be Waldrom replacement if rumours are true though.

We were never really linked but according to the daily mail Priestland is joining Wasps. This is significant to us purely because it means another quality 10 is off the market, therefore Glaws will be more reluctant to let Burns go if we decide to go after him. However with the confirmed signing of Afoa and the heavily linked Hibbard they may not have the cap space to keep all of their out of contract players.

Strange move by Wasps. They have three 10s on the books in Goode, Carlisle and Bell (though he seems to be playing more and more at 15). Goode and Carlisle are due to be there next season as well.

Glaws are set to offload their marquee signing Cowan, former Wallaby Huia Edmonds and Morgan the former England fullback has retired. That should give them a sizeable chunk to work with especially if they release Quera as well (rumoured off to Japan). They haven't wasted time spending the cash either with Afoa and Hibbard through the door.

Tigers need to find a good quality 10 who is down on his luck and rejuvenate him like we did with Allen and Tait.

Twitter and The Guardian rumour that Leigh Halfpenny and Sam Warburton will sign for Toulon and Saints respectively. If true another great signing by Saints but how can they do so within the cap given their recent big name signings?
