Well it should make cap room for Goneva With Pohe and Heptema stepping up to be 12 cover, makes sense.

Bodes well for getting Bai's visa.

huge Shame to lose Bowden (I think the whole O'Connor him situation put him an a big back foot, he hadn't played with Manu until this season) but it makes sense from a depth POV
I think it also shows that the MOC fans may not be so accurate about his genius after all (NB sound of old argumentative opinion being reincarnated by self :smt003 ) - our style of play is changing and becoming much higher tempo. I'm sorry that Bowden may be lost as I thought he contributed greatly to that style.

Please don't take this the wrong way, as it's not that I mind overmuch, but we're beginning to look like Not-Nots

With all the proposed changes - a stab at a match day squad looks good - plenty of room for debate and depth in most positions there (but then we say that most seasons).

If Bowden goes and we don't get Bai that leaves Hepetema as our only vaguely experienced 12 if Allen gets injured, That IMO is a little worrying, That said Hepetema has bags of talent so lets hope he can unleash it

I know we have Pohe but he has no experience at all and would a center combination of him and Manu work (although I admit I would love to see it)

Was told in pub on Sunday (excellent source)that the Bai deal is done and that he is working on Goneva. Apparently Bai is quite influential in Fijian rugby.

sounds good for Bai on both fronts.

Doesn't DB now qualify for England under residency rules? and Bristol are throwing loads of money around, Ryan Jones has now signed for them.
cheers

Yes, but as good as he is its hard to see how he will get into the setup ahead of 36, Eastmond, Barrit, Burrell and possibly Burgess

Sad as I would be to see Bowden go, I think we will be reasonably well covered and gives Pohe and Hepetema a chance. Will likely free up a little bit of cap.

Good luck do Dan if he does go. It never quite worked out for him here, but he never let us down, and showed some real class for us this season when we needed him. Seems a really nice bloke too.

How long did we sign Terence up for?
