Fonua is apparently under contract for another year, so appears unlikely.

I expect we will stick with Crane and Pearce. A few other players can cover there too.

Fonua hss one year remaining but has a relegation release cause which would allow him to join us. Will all depend on results in France.

Lets hope Oyonnax have a couple of wins and he becomes available. They have 2 games in hand over Bayonne and are 4 pts behind with, when equal in games played, leaves both with 7 more to play. 2 go down so Oyonnax have to get above Bayonne for any chance for him to become a Tiger.

Depends of youre view of quality is it international Quality or top Club Quality. I don't we will get the former.

But when is the last major international signing tigers have made?

Bai would be a great signing IMO. as a 3rd choice 10/12. It all about perspective.

Also worth noting that Bayonne have a points difference of -122 and Oyonnax are -66 meaning if level on points Bayonne would be the favourite going down unless Oyonnax goes to pot.

Good info, Trendy; especially as Oyonnax are averaging 2 points a game which, if the trend continues, would put them all square after the games in hand have been played.

I think we need a couple of physically big and powerful signings, not sure we need a big name. I won't be opposed to us promoting a few academy players to squad positions, releasing the squad players they replace and then using that money to supplement the kitty for new players.

A PI or nasty Bok number 8 would be a priority.

I wonder if Dallago or Lawrence as I prefer to call him thinks that Burns is a big signing? Probably not.

thinking the really last big name Was Mauger really. Flood? but he was up and coming young 10 with a couple of caps under his belt.

Even then we have never been about signing big names for the sake of big names.
