Who do we go to if flood goes to France in the summer ?
From reading the rugby paper on Sunday it seems the rumours about flood to France don't want to go away! so who do we go to if he does go to France! It also said burns is reluctant to sign a new contract with glaws?

I would stick with Owen Williams. Despite his tender years he oozes confidence and quality

And will be an 'encouragement' to any academy players coming through!

I totally agree, Owen Williams looks class.
The only downside is he will soon be the Welsh stand off.

I heard there was a good young fly half at Bath that we could try and get!
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

I doubt the double Lamb/Williams signing was an accident...

I hope to see Williams starting on Friday with Mele by his side. Flood & YBY on the bench if needed!

Hate to disagree with you GT but we would be running a big risk if we take Treviso lightly. I would be tempted to start with Flood but give Ben a rest by putting him on the bench. Bring Williams on once a bonus point is secured.GT1 wrote:I hope to see Williams starting on Friday with Mele by his side. Flood & YBY on the bench if needed!

Williams looks a class act..dont let us make another boo boo like losing Ford.
No smoke without fire regarding Toby...

Williams is the only sensible answer to the question with Lamb on standby.
Would hate to lose Toby though!

Trust me Smurphswillgetya I will never take Treviso lightly (they are my 2nd fav team) & I know only too well what their capable of, keep an eye out for their wing/fullback Williams. I just think this game would suit our Williams to start as it will no doubt be an arm wrestle for a start & kicking our pens & for position will be important!
Re: Who do we go to if flood goes to France in the summer ?
If he did go we would have a few options. If we wanted to spend big we could bring in Freddie Burns or Rhys Priestland. I would prefer to see Williams developed though. It takes guts to come on in a vital game and go for a massive drop goal, he did miss but the intention and technique were both there. He does seem to have a reliable boot aswell. I love Floody as a player but sometimes his goal kicking isn't as reliable as it should be, although when he is on form he is a great kicker like in the Ospreys game last year.
Re: Who do we go to if flood goes to France in the summer ?
If he does go it is clear the reason is that he feels unfairly treated by England, I don't think there is anything more Tigers could do to help in that regard.

James O'Connor would be ideal.
