I have only just seen the footage of Maurie Fa'asavalu's yellow card at the weekend for pulling Jacques Burger's hair. How utterly pathetic! I told my partner about the incident on Sunday and she said it sounds like 'two girls in a playground'. Spot on!
I'd really like to see the authorities stamping down (no pun intended) on cheap shots like this. It has no place in the game in my opinion.
Out of all the cheap shots I think eye-gouging must be the worst. Any player caught on film doing this should get a minimum year ban IMHO.

Yes just like Ashton got severely punished for the horrendous hair pull tackle on Alex T - and before any Satins supporter defends Ashton, it literally happened in front of me.

Personally I think all this long hair and, Heaven forbid, Alice bands as I saw one player wearing recently, is getting a bit much. Anyone would think they were footballers!
