Latest rumour from The Rugby Paper

Evidently Matt O'Connor is planning to make a move to acquire Anthony Allen.

Anthony will be out of contract next summer and it's also likely this will be Brian O'Driscoll's final season for Leinster. However the article goes on to say Leicester are keen to talk with Anthony regarding signing a contract extension before the start of the forthcoming season.

Why on earth would we want 12T's back. In the past Tiger's would not give in to his salary demands, as an international Lion his demands would be even greater.His future is in France, if someone is silly enough to meet the demands of an unproven player. 12T's is money led.

Having just lost their star 10 to France I thought Floody might be MOC's first target. MOC obviously rates Flood very highly (he is always defending him in the press) and with Toby maybe feeling he has dropped off the England radar he might be tempted for a new challenger. Let's hope not!

I think Floody will be largely ignored by England this season (in favour of Burns / Farrell) and will have his best season as a Tiger but will likely be targeted by French clubs for the 2014/15 season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Flood went to Toulon for the retirement money, much like I expect TTTE to go to France or Japan after his current contract ends for the same reasons
