Montpellier Recruitment...gulp

I hadn't been keeping up to date with the transfers across the channel and was in the "could be worse" camp in drawing Montpellier in the HEC - they have some class players but not in the bracket of Toulouse, Clermont etc I thought... but this is quite a recruitment list including Mas, Timani, Hamilton, Tuitavake, Olivier and Floch... to add to their already impressive roster.

This many new faces in one go could actually work in our favour as teams take time and shared experience to gel together properly. It took Toulon years to win anything and their spending spree made this one look like pocket change.

As he's hit some form and is back in All Blacks reckoning there is some thought that he is trying very hard to back out of the move - so I think that's why he's been left off that list.

There was an article on planet rugby published before the 3rd NZ vs France test that said Ranger was still going to Montpellier even though he has just broke into the NZ team
