What a hilarious sponsorship deal. Steve Walsh sponsored in pink by Specsavers.

Goes with the humour of the current tv advertising campaign.

It's nothing new, the officials in the Rabo have been sponsored by Specsavers for a few seasons now.

Just seen the advert for the first time - who ever the ref is (white) he looks fit I can't run like that but then again I don't get chased by a team of rugby players hell bent on getting me down !

Yes that is exactly what I am saying. I don't live in Wales etc nor would I ever spend a penny on any Murdoch product.

I find that radio pictures are usually much better quality.

I don't pay Murdoch anything but can watch the Rabo on Sky. Just get a old Sky box & dish & you can watch all the free channels including S4C - BBC2 NI - BBC2 Wales - BBC Alba etc where the rugby is free to air!

There have been plenty of photographs of the officials in English newspapers (even non-Murdoch publications) and on the BBC sports website which I also believe is available for viewing in England.
