Guys only a couple of hours left to vote for the Try of the Year and Ben is currently 2nd - his try is by far the best.

Just to confirm, what sight are we voting on? If it is indeed the sky sports one then there is only 1% between first and second so lets get voting :)

Also for those who are a bit grey on the ethics of voting, you can submit more than one vote if you use internet explorer and then google chrome.

It would seem that last weeks tryies could not be counted because if it had surely Tom crofts would have to be right in with a shout as would Niki Goneva's

This is why public votes are now meaningless, because it's whoever has the best marketing campaign wins.

How many of those who are delighted that Ben won were coughing and spluttering in disbelief when Ryan Giggs won SPOTY a couple of years back?

Wigan's point is fair; Ben won because Leicester FC can put more votes out than Bath Rugby not because of any meticulous analysis of relative merit.

Ryan Giggs is a soccer play of longevity and good character, at least on the pitch. I have no idea about SPOTY; maybe his dog?

So Ben's win is in fact a reflection on his team, the club and the membership. Thia support is a reason to stay here, rather than be a big fish elsewhere in the UK, or a big earner in France.

Just cast my vote for BY. But has anyone else noticed that the Sky caption shows that BY is now a Bath player... scoring against Leicester Tigers!!!

The awards ceremony was on Wed 22 May so casting your vote today was a waste of your time and effort. Also, Ben is not down as a Bath player. If you check all the candidates you will see the home team is, as usual, listed first and the team the candidate plays for is in capital letters.

Wasn't sure when the vote was so I did it anyway. But sorry BJ, have a look again, on the Sky footage, BATH is highlighted, not Tigers.
