Barf is splashing more dosh than Sarries and they have the nerve to question us complying with "the wage cap".Pam.B wrote:http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugb ... on-2991210
Going to mentor George Ford as well as play.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: Henson on the move again
I think of the two George is the more mature. Surely should be the other way round? Someone has to help GH grow up.Going to mentor George Ford as well as play.

Re: Henson on the move again
Gavin Henson is an inspiration to us all; somehow he's managed to parlay a couple of excellent seasons almost a decade ago into a continuing career that shows no signs of succumbing to a rational expectation of failure. If he was in any other line of work he'd be lighting up a job center somewhere in south Wales with that ever-present tan.
Re: Henson on the move again
If you'd watched some of his play for Welsh, you'd have seen he was still a class player despite having 'lost his way'.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

In a way, he reminds me of Joan Collins. I believe he is now famous just for being famous and continues to live off it.CitizenSmiff wrote:Gavin Henson is an inspiration to us all; somehow he's managed to parlay a couple of excellent seasons almost a decade ago into a continuing career that shows no signs of succumbing to a rational expectation of failure.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.
Re: Henson on the move again
Leicester missed out on a bargain buy-a very clever intuitive player at 12, and he will help Bath 's two tyro 10's enormously..
And he can tackle.....
And he can tackle.....

Not possible! we are undoubtedly the premiership champions when it comes to bargain player buysfortysix wrote:Leicester missed out on a bargain buy

Re: Henson on the move again
I wish him well. A good player, could have been great.
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Who would go rather have signed Ryan lamb or Gavin Henson?

Re: Henson on the move again
I'd take a tackle dummy over the pair of them, it'd certainly be more useful in defense than Lamb.barwelltiger wrote:Who would go rather have signed Ryan lamb or Gavin Henson?

Re: Henson on the move again
IMHO Ryan Lamb will turn out to be a great signing, given time in the Tigers system.
Re: Henson on the move again
+1. The fact that he has the guts to come to the team where he know his defense will be thoroughly scrutinized tells me he is the type of player we want. Someone who wants to work for his place in the team. If anyone can fix his defense it is us. I look forward to seeing him play for us next season along with Owen Williams who looks like a great prospect.old one eye wrote:IMHO Ryan Lamb will turn out to be a great signing, given time in the Tigers system.
