now I'm a fan of crazys shirts (i LOVED the orange 7s strip, and still have a flourescant pink treviso strip) but this is a little OTT...

It looks like they've raided the Sports Direct sale section and slapped a rose on the most ridiculous shirt they could find.

New Kit for 2013/14

Post by Grimlish »

Just received an email with the latest Canterbury offering (not a bib in sight), for the England Sevens team here, available from the RFU shop. What chances this is the basis for Tigers new kit coming before this season's end?

Nice to get rid of the bib it will allow more design options but the quality does not look any better!

Wouldn't mind a green, red and white version of this Canterbury shirt: http://tinyurl.com/cvt29tv

It's better than those england 7s shirts - I think!

Is anyone going down to the photo shoot for the new kit tommorow. I can't go bu from what I've read on both the offy and unoffy it looks like it will be a more traditional kit. Could anyone get down there and get a sneaky photo for those of us who can't make it.

I see Brian Moore said whoever designed the 7's shirt must have been on LSD at the time. First time I've agreed anything he's said for a very long time.

I actually like these kit designs and think the concept is very clever, if the result takes a bit of getting used to. 7's is supposed to be different and exciting and I think this design is a good effort at encapsulating all that.

Tigris there was a photoshoot today, no doubt with frightful threats of painful death for anyone breaching confidentiality restrictions. The unveiling is later, see here

Thanks Grimlish, that's the one I was aware of, can't se how they could keep it so hush hush, but it says it will be worn for the first time on May 4th, I would surely imagine they release images before that
