Joseph to Bath

Post by Jay C »

From the Torygraph : linky

So JJ joins the "new" revolution at Barf - with Eastmond, Biggs, etc, they will certainly have some gas in the backline for young George Ford to play with !

"Jonathan is young, English and hugely talented. He is exactly the sort of player we want, and we are confident that he will indeed bring something special to the team," Gold said. - he could have been describing GF :smt003

Oh no, another team where something special is going to happen.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

They do seem to be recruiting very strongly - the owner splashing the cash! Joseph is a very good prospect, and will only add to a fast set of backs.

The signing might just be a 'happy coincidence' of course, but it makes Gold's denials at the end of last year look a bit hollow.

As with Ford, no illegal "poaching" then, by Gold or his mates!

How long will it take for the Bath coaches and fans to start moaning about missing internationals if they get called up for England?

It will be very interesting to see how Bath line up next season.

Potentially the midfield could look like this: -

10. Ford
12. Eastmond
13. Joseph

Lots of gas but very frail if you ask me! For me this season Joseph has been over hyped. Yes he has pace, but I question his defence and passing ability. Time will tell.
Eastmond I like a lot but, but where is his best position.

Probably a long time as players with potential may not develop as expected!

But this will make our 'grudge' matches with Bath all the more interesting eh? :smt045

Interesting that with all this bunch of 'talent' that Dan Hipkiss has just re-signed. More centres than they'll know what to do with.
