Saturday's match marks the 17th year, bar a day, since Geordan Murphy made his home debut for us.
I know this because my trip to the ground was disrupted by a long stop at the LRI to visit my newborn daughter.
The match was against Sale, and we won.
I was already familiar with Mr Murphy from his away debut, of the bench at Coventry. Marked by a prodigious drop goal, from an implausible distance.
Let's give him a big hand on Saturday. The one that didn't get away.
(And if you want to give Grace a slight happy birthday when her name appears on the scoreboard that would be kind too)

Re: Geordan at 17
Was wondering at the title, I thought "he's a bit older than that!"
Happy birthday to Grace.

It would be nice to mark the day for someone so loyal to Tigers.
Happy birthday Grace.
