Why are you worried about fullback. We have Tait and Morris who can play there. I would say we need another winger as Goneva and Benjamin have picked up injuries and if that happens again next season to two wingers we would be short in that department.
I'm still not convinced that Tait is a decent fullback and that leaves us with Morris who i rate highly and 1-2 players that can fill in if times are hard (didn't floody used to play fullback for the falcons when wilko was there)

Please, not someone suggesting that England's best 10 moves to 15 now? Presumably after a stint at 12?

Why not Smith, Hamilton or an A team player?

My thought was under the conditions Hamilton had left with Geordan, and i wasn't aware smith had ever played 15

Patrick Phibbs who went to the not nots on injury cover has signed a 2 year deal with them,so won't be coming back to us,good luck to him.

Indeed, the not nots needed someone to control and keep a calm head considering their talent in the backs, whereas we don't. Horses for courses congrats to Pat Phibbs on the contract.

As for fullbacks, Lewington, Morris and Tait would be 3 pretty good options, possibly to become outstanding but none of them currently so.

Well Farrells done quite well at 12 in the past, I'm not sure he'd get much game time at full back though :smt002

With the news today that Richie Vernon has signed for Glasgow i think this strengthens the rumor that John Barclay has signed for us

I'm sure Cornwell has played full back last time he was here, surely he would be a better last resort than Flood.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Yep - he was at 15 the day we beat them 83-10 in 2005. Possibly a hint that it may not be his best position? (Mind you the Falcons had Tait at 13 that day and Parling at 5, not to mention Grindal at 9).

Leicester rely on an Academy graduate?

Ha ha ha ha!

Ha ha!

<sigh>

Alex Lewington regularly impresses for Tigers, so if we were any other club in the Premiership then he would be an option. As it is, we are Tigers... so he's only going to be an option for Nottingham.
