We got him cheap two years ago - think the price may have gone up a bit by now !

I'd be very surprised if the two parties don't sort something out - especially if Geordie calls it a day....

Simon Cohen said on rugbyhour earlier today that Matt Tait "must have had a bump on the head as he has forgotten that he has signed a 2 year contract with us".

If that is 2 years from when he originally signed then it will be expiring at the end of this season but I got the impression by the way he answered that he had signed another 2 year contract.

That is a weird one... perhaps there were some crossed wires in the interview about earning/having earned one - or maybe his comments related to wanting to produce a performance to justify a new contract?
