.................There was a freeze before the '97 game! Tents from Upton Park!

We won that one! I'll get stirring the cauldron and shaking the bones!

From the Independent:-

Leicester have been in unbeatable form recently. Their last defeat was at Wasps in September and they have scarcely looked in serious trouble since but they were tantalisingly close to finishing a poor second to the weather yesterday as the frost bit deep into the Welford Road turf. This afternoon's Heineken European Cup semi-final with Toulouse was still in the balance as night fell over the East Midlands.
No one could accuse the Tigers of taking the freeze-up lying down. They covered their pitch with a vast protective balloon, wheeled in a convoy of powerful industrial heaters and recruited all the volunteers they could find to clear snow from the terracing.

Oh those old fashioned spells...eye of newt is so outdated...and it's toe of frog, not leg.

:smt077

I think I'll stick with positive thinking and belief that Tigers will win :smt040

That it be......That it be.........

"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,--
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

Mind you cursing the Frog's toes seems a little futile...lest they drop off in the frost! Perchance they'll lose there balls too

And then they'd have nothing to practice with! :smt003

That does it for me! Rizzo's for the ducking stool!

Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.
