Italian restaurant on Sunday ?
Has anyone got any recommendations for a Italian lunch this Sunday in Leicester city centre - might as well get in the mood !!
Re: Italian restaurant on Sunday ?
You could try Little Italy on Welford Road, had a really lovely meal there after the Nottingham game.
You'd need to check if they're open Sunday but worth a try. Phone: 0116 270 8695

Carluccios in Highcross, or Pizza Express on king street.

If you don't mind a taxi ride out to Stoneygate, there's always Timo in Allandale Road, although I suspect the proprietor might be busy elsewhere.

There have always been quite a few Tigers shirts in Zizzi's on Belvoir Street on the occasions we've eaten there before a match.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

San Carlos on Granby Street if you don't mind forking out a few quid extra. It's very nice and I've even seen the previously mentioned owner of Timo's eating there!
There are 3 types of people.
Those who count and those who can't.

prezzo, on silver street.

There's a cheap and cheerful one on Market St, just up from the Tigers shop, that does an all you can eat buffet with a soft drink (they are licensed too) for £6. It's called Cafe di Lupo. Again, not sure if they'll be open on Sunday but I would guess so with the Christmas shopping going on.
PS Don't be put off by the cheap and cheerful, the food is very good for lunch.

Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.

I went to Timo's on Saturday for the first time and I must say that it is one of the best Italians I have ever eaten at (and I have eaten at quite a few) so anyone who is looking for nice place to eat should try it. Even my cheese hating dad enjoyed it.

Try La Vida in Northumberland Street, small but good food and friendly staff.

Well, you learn something every day :) I've only ever been mid-week because the parking is awful round there. The Market Harborough Timo's is nicer and bigger.
