PM76 good assessment of how tigers stand at the moment.
Qera was all over Flood the whole game and we struggled to apply the same pressure on them.

Qera was offside for the majority of it.Dave wrote:PM76 good assessment of how tigers stand at the moment.

Excuse me. Where do I get a yellow balaclava from?
I asked Gavin Henson if they sold them at Matalan but he said they didn't because they messed his hair up.

After two tough HC matches and a 5 day turnaround, apparently Cockers declined to use any replacements to rejuvenate an obviously tiring team. Any idea what the logic was?

The logic was predictably illogical

Why would you want to take of DC when he was playing so well?sapajo wrote:What happend to Castro ? cannot remember the last time he did not come off the bench
Re: Glaws match
Cole was playing well and will now be away with England. We should have Castro, shouldn't he?

Wondered about starting a new thread: "It wouldn't have happened in Johnno's day." I don't think he'd have let us come away from a 13-man opposition with so little?
Re: Glaws match
Jonno nor indeed any one else cannot prevent repeated infringements designed to wind down the clock. The only person who could have prevented this was JP Doyle and he chose a blind eye.Lutontiger wrote:Wondered about starting a new thread: "It wouldn't have happened in Johnno's day." When Johnno was skipper we'd have played to the ref, something we've not done for quite some time...

Re: Glaws match
Fair play to Gloucester today, as they were the better side. But what concerns me is, as mentioned above, the use of our bench. No 7 on the pitch nor the bench, leaving Cole to do the majority of the work on the floor, I know he is good at it but it says something when your tighthead is the man first to the breakdown and competing for the ball. I also think Kitchener should have been used as Deacon hasn't played 80 minutes for I don't know how long, bar the development team, he also has pace for a big fella.
However, Murphy looked good today I thought running some good line and beating defenders so good to see him back. And I thought Tom Youngs recovered well in the second half, I can understand the criticism but I wouldn't say he cost us a win. The bottom line is we got ourselves into a position to win the game regardless and we didn't take it, nor enough points during the double sin bin. But I must say strongly disagreed with the Cook yellow, the rule appears now if you try to catch a ball with one hand it is therefore a deliberate knock-on and a yellow card, which is not necasserily the case. Also thought our penalty try came late as gloucester infringed at 2 mauls a yard from our line which should IMHO be a penalty try but is rarely given.
Also, someone tell me how Ugo Monye gets pcked over Simpson-Daniel for England?
