SL's right to rest players?

Post by rdracup »

In the RFU agreement I believe SL gets some rights to rest players. Does anyone know the exact rules? Could he ruin the 3 Nov game with Saints?, given England have a very very big game against Fuji the following week.

Cockers said in his post match interview after the Ospreys game that it was a blocking week for England players so they would not be available.

The tragedy being that one or two (e.g. Allen) will probably not play an international.

Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

I think that's right. Interesting thought is, that every week during the AI's, those who do not make the matchday squad will be released back to play for their clubs - wonder if that will happen for the Saints match weekend too even though there is no match that weekend? My guess is that SL will retain the full EPS squad for the weekend of the 3rd November...
