Vote of no confidence in the Board,
Outsourcing Caterering has been a disaster. Outsourcing the ahop has resulted in lost revenue. No WC matches. Poor on field performances.
What have they got right?

Even Rolls Royces need oil changes. They don't break down readily, but slowly their performance degrades, and carries on doing so until they are serviced. The initial signs of this decay are subtle and peripheral.
Oh hang on. I think I'm on the wrong
no WR, no WC.

Both, he loves the place and the board had to sanction the contract that kept him! An outsider....I see him as one of us with a slightly dodgy Leicester accent!!Bill W (2) wrote:That down to the board or to Geordan?WiggoTiger wrote:Ensuring Geordan has been a legend for all these years!!

I have always felt keep Catering in house (money making area) and the deal with the shops is awful (do they have shares in Canterbury??).
Feel they messed up with A league games by dropping the free tokens.....next generation of fans have been lost!

Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,
We have seen our club make the transition from amateur to professional, the ground and its facilities have improved considerably over the years, and our team having won many trophies is the only Premiership team to have qualified for the Heineken cup every year it has been available. Unlike our rivals Northampton and Harlequins we have never been relegated or even been serious contenders for that.
Of course they have not got everything right, who does?. The deal with Kitbag may or may not work, it is just too early to say time will tell. The catering is another matter, that is a specialist trade and if Tigers were not to outsource it they would have to employ full time many administrators and staff that are currently on the books of the caterers and are used elsewhere when not employed at Welford Road.

Well said...!
Somebody speaking sense at last and not just criticising the catering.
I'm the one in the Tigers shirt on the 22. You can't miss me...!
Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,
There's nothing 'specialist' about the youngsters who serve behind the bars, they don't have a clue.
Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,
What specific grounds would you place in a proposal for a motion of no confidence Bill ?
What has been committed to by the Tigers board and signally failed to be achieved without mitigating circumstances ?

Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,
No WC matches? the board didn't turn them away, that was out of our control. Poor performances on the pitch is purely you and a very , very small minority of so called fans making that observation, there are a greater majority of supporters not trying to make a name for themselves creating mischief on here.Bill W (2) wrote:Outsourcing Caterering has been a disaster. There is a small group of trouble makers that claim to be fans of Leicester Tigers, but their own words seem to point to another agenda altogether.
Constant sniping is making me think that you don't actually support the club at all, but your main interest is to get more posts than anyone else by posting the first thing that comes into your head, just for your own self gratification. A classic case of some one trying to bask in the reflected glory of the efforts of others and cannot conceive that we don't have some divine right to win everything, sit in perfect seats and be fed gourmet food whilst enjoying the dancing girls prior to the forgone conclusion that we will get 5 points every time we take the field of play.
You have become a caricuture of yourself, playing to a small group to get their adulation.
You've failed to get any support to get rid of the coaches and or players that are not flavour of the week, now you pick on the board of the single most succesful team in the premiership. You claim to be a fan,if this is an example then we sure don't need any enemies do we?
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,
And relax, everything is normal in the world. A barbed little post from Essex designed to cause trouble and the sycophantic diatribe from north of the border in response (although it took a little longer than I expected).
Mind you, I will say this for Bill, at least he puts his money where his mouth is and travels up to the home games and some away including Europe - even though he can't call himself a fan apparently.
