Hi BJ (Hello Tigers) I'd personnally opt for the De Danu. But make sure to pay a visit to Place Saint Pierre and its famous bar the Pastis Ô Maître, and have a Ricard !
And MAKE SURE to thrash Stade Toulousain !

To all those going give my regrds to "La Ville Rose". I used to frequent the "Tavern Bavaroise." more for grub than beer, and had an interesting conversation with Madame Carbanau post the Brive defeat in Cardiff, the Os a Moelle and Le Colombier were also good. The Melting pot was a favourite jumping off point for an evening and we made the "Frog" on a time or two.

Key question for those who have been before - on match day are there any good drinking places around the ground or should we stay in bars such as those mentioned and aim to arrive just in time for the match?

I've only been once back in '07 and I don't remember any bars near to the ground. It's on the island in the river and is part of an overall sports complex.Jeremy Anderson wrote:Key question for those who have been before - on match day are there any good drinking places around the ground or should we stay in bars such as those mentioned and aim to arrive just in time for the match?
It's approx. a 3km walk from De Danú and 3.3km from the Frog and Rosbif.

Looking on Google maps The Kilarney pub near Palais de Justice Metro looks about the closest to the ground
Re: HQ for Toulouse weekend?
Work up an appetite for Sunday lunch with a pre-match walking tour of Toulouse's Key Sights!
Sunday 14th 9.30-11.30 a.m.
We've previously done walks for fans of the Quins, Wasps, Warriors, Connacht.... see our on-line guestbook or Trip Advisor for what the clients think.
